The platform originally grew from the Q-Tips YouTube channel, which was created as a way to support existing GIS clients with useful tutorials and learning material. As interest in the tutorials expanded beyond existing clients, the Q-Tips learning platform was developed to provide more structured and dedicated GIS and QGIS training.
Current courses range from introductory GIS and QGIS training through to more practical topics such as map creation, spatial data editing, and geoprocessing.
